Villa Sol Mate is simple in design; single-storey and cuboid, its bold lines are all the more striking for its smooth surface built with native rock, and the warm copper roof framing it. Standing against the rough-hewn stone of the island, its simply spectacular setting provides a thrill of exhilaration the first time you set eyes on the sweeping vista over an endless blue sea. Sliding patio doors form almost an entire wall of glass on the ocean side, and a see-through balustrade runs the entire length of the property, so as not to interrupt the views.
